A couple days ago, Mary Corder and I decided to update my room. Curtains, paintings, frames, and re-arranging the furniture were included in the redecorating. But, our favorite addition would have to be the mirror my sister painted to hang on my wall. With John Mayer's new album Battle Studies playing on my speakers, we got in touch with our artistic side, and here are some pictures from the evening..

So, this is my first blog. Can't say how long I will keep it up- I've never been one for journals or diaries- but I'll try my best. I figure Christmas break is a good time to start something new..

My sister, Mary Corder, and I went to Border's today in hopes of bringing home a new and intriguing novel to start, but somehow, even in the midst of the huge ocean of literary options that is Border's, we were unsuccessful. However, we will be back soon to pick up Nicholas Sparks' The Last Song when it arrives in it's paperback form.
